Truagent.

Bangkok's rental market has a trust problem. Fake profiles, ghost agents, people who take fees and disappear. If you have ever tried to find a place to rent in this city, you have probably experienced it. We built Truagent because enough is enough.

The problem

Anyone can post as a property agent in Bangkok. There is no verification, no accountability, no way to know if the person you are messaging is a real agent or someone who will ghost you after taking a holding deposit.

For finders, this means wasted time, stress, and sometimes real financial loss. For legitimate agents — the ones who have built their reputations over years of honest work — it means competing in a market full of noise they cannot control.

What Truagent is

Truagent is a verified agent directory and messaging platform built specifically for Bangkok. Every agent on the platform has been through a full identity and certificate verification before they can be contacted by anyone.

For finders, it is the only place in Bangkok where you can browse agents and know — with confidence — that every profile is real. For agents, it is a platform that rewards legitimacy and gives their verified status a shareable, professional home.

How we verify

Agent IDs are verified through Persona — the same platform used by Etsy, LinkedIn, and Reddit. Agents scan their government ID and take a live selfie. The result is near-instant. We never see the actual document.

Certificates and professional credentials are uploaded separately and reviewed manually by our team. Both checks must pass before a profile goes live.

What we believe

Verification is not optional Every agent on Truagent is verified. There is no unverified tier, no pending listings visible to finders. If it is on the platform, it has been checked.

Reviews should mean something A review on Truagent is only possible once both sides have confirmed a deal through the platform. No fake ratings, no incentivised reviews from people who never transacted.

Conversations on the record All messaging between finders and agents happens on Truagent. Nothing scattered across LINE, WhatsApp, and Facebook. One inbox, everything documented.

Built for Bangkok This is not a global product bolted onto a Thai URL. Truagent is built from the ground up for Bangkok's property market — the areas, the buildings, the languages, the way this city actually works.
